GP Consultation

Provided by a team of medical specialists at Teladoc Health

GP consultations enable you to discuss any non-emergency health related issues with our team of GPs from the comfort of your own home or wherever you are in the world.

This round-the-clock access to a GP has no geographical restrictions and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

There are many situations in which you and your family may want to use this service - whether it’s about acid reflux, knowing which holiday vaccinations to get or you’re suffering with debilitating back pain. You can get medical advice, prescriptions (if within safe guidelines), further specialist referrals and much more from a team of UK-based registered GPs.

You can upload images, such as scans, test results or medical reports, which can form an important part of your consultation and the GP will review and discuss these in detail with you.

Who can use this service?

To have access to Virtual Medical Care you need to be insured under an eligible AIG insurance policy. You will get unlimited access to this service at no additional cost. However, you will be responsible for any cost associated with any medical treatment recommended by the service. You will also be responsible for the costs of any medicines prescribed via the prescription service. This service does not require an insurance claim to be made and will not show on or impact your company’s claims record. The service is available to you, your partner and your children (up to the age of 23).
